Alisa Mandel's versatile design experience stretches to over 20 years of professional work with theaters and dance groups in Russia and the USA.
Alisa Mandel designed over 3000 costumes for:
      - classical ballet;
      - modern dance;
      - dancesport;
      - jazz;
      - rock;
      - opera;
      - operetta;
      - and drama.
      Russian born, Alisa graduated from St.Petersburg Academy of Design with BA in Fashion Design. She also carries Master of Arts degree from renowned St.Petersburg Institute of Music, Theatre and Cinematography.
      As costume artist Alisa works with performers of all kinds,creating unique and elegant designs that always make their owners feel great on stage or dancefloor. She loves the magic of transforming a still piece of material into a wearable piece of art.
       Alisa's design have been seen on TV both in Russia and America, often bringing praises from critics and judges in their reviews. Alisa's clients include all level of performers from amateurs to professional dancers and actors.
       Alisa has had a privilege to design costumes for Sharon and David Savoy- three time World Exhibition Dance Champions, who extensively travel world wide and also for a TV commercial with Willard Scott .
      Alisa started designing costumes for ballroom dancers soon after she moved to the USA in 1991. She views them as synthetic type of costume combining in itself the elements of latest high fashion , theatrics and sport.
